Dean Zulich is a native of Bosnia and Herzegovina, residing in Seattle, Washington since 1995. He graduated with honors from the Art Institute of Seattle Photography Program in March 2007 and won fifteen different photography scholarships and contests along the way.
Since taking the Best Portfolio of the Show award at his graduation, Zulich’s career has ignited. In December 2007, he was the runner up on Vh1’s reality contest The Shot, America’s search for the next great fashion photographer. In May 2008, he was induced into the Art Institute Alumni Hall Of Fame.
Zulich has photographed the Seattle Seahawks, Joss Stone, Ricki Lake, Victoria Secret’s supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Marissa Miler and Miranda Kerr, Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sarah VonderHaar and many others.
His client list includes Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Magazine, Tangerine Collection, Corbis, Equal Vision Records, Sheer Style US and more.
His work has been published in Marie Claire, New York Times, JPG Magazine, Seattle Magazine, Bulb Magazine, ReFoto, MAXI Magazin, Redefine Magazine, The Stranger and more.
When not on assignment, Dean teaches workshops and shares inspiration with fellow photographers worldwide.
